LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT :
Participants of this program will be immersed into the frontlines of the industry by gaining safe, hands-on experience with seasoned experts and their line crews while gaining exposure to the physical and environmental challenges associated with this career. This exciting opportunity requires interns to work in a variety of extreme weather conditions, while engaging in heavy lifting, climbing poles over 110 feet, trenching and working in overhead buckets that can reach up to 90 feet.

This entry-level experience is a catalyst for building an approximate five-year progression path toward becoming a first-class line worker in the power industry.

2. Am I eligible to start EPE's Lineworker apprenticeship program upon completion of my internship?
You must successfully complete your internship and formally apply for a Helper-Apprentice vacancy to be considered for EPE's apprenticeship program.
3. What can I expect during and upon completion of my internship?
This internship is an opportunity to showcase your ability to succeed in an electrical Lineworker career. As an intern, you will work with several line crews and operations leadership teams who will provide guidance and training for you to be successful in an apprenticeship role. Strong performing interns may be eligible for a Helper-Apprentice position subject to availability and operational demand.
4. Will this internship position require me to relocate?
The internship position will not require relocation. Relocation may be required if an intern transitions into a Helper-Apprentice role.
