What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Electrical Contractor - MEI?
We are an electrical contractor located in Queens, New York. Our focus is on industrial installations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant (1-3 years)
- Experience in the Construction/Electrical Industry is preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quickbooks
- Strong prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and handle confidential information
- Adaptable/Self-starter
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and Emails
- Record keeping, filing, and document management including contracts, insurance certificates, permits, work orders, invoices, and other important documents
- Assist the manager and project manager with administrative tasks
- Assisting with the preparation of invoices, purchase orders, and payment applications
- Monitoring expenses
- Communicating with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
