Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary, Full-Time HR Assistant to join our HR team. In this role, you will provide essential support across a variety of HR functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our department. Qualifications:
· Proven experience in an HR role, with a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices.
· Experience using ADP or alternate payroll system for payroll and employee data management.
· Excellent computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and TEAMS.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
· Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Creative flair for designing newsletters and bulletin boards that effectively engage employees.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform administrative tasks to support the HR team, such as maintaining records, organizing files, and managing correspondence.
· Distribute newsletters and internal communications to keep employees informed and connected.
· Maintain and update company bulletin boards and PowerPoint slideshows with relevant and engaging content.
· Update HR policies, procedures, and the company handbook as required.
· Maintain employee files in compliance with legal and record retention requirements.
· Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
· Promote employee recognition programs.
· Recommend and coordinate company events and activities to support employee engagement and community goodwill (e.g., United Way campaigns, picnics, holiday celebrations, biometric screenings, and flu shots).
