Composite Technician

Position Overview:
We are looking for skilled candidates with experience in composite and fiberglass work. As a Composite & Fiberglass Technician, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that contribute to the creation of high-quality products. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and precision are key.
Key Responsibilities:

• Apply fiber layers to surfaces and sculpt materials for molding new parts.
• Use molds to create parts, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Perform cosmetic repairs to enhance the appearance and durability of products.
• Utilize hand tools for sanding, buffing, and cutting materials to specifications.
• Collaborate with a team to assemble and construct parts, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Stay focused on assigned tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Be open to overtime as needed, with little notice, to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with sanding, buffing, and using hand tools.
• Background in composite and fiberglass work is highly preferred.
• Experience in assembly and/or construction environments.
• Ability to work well within a team and contribute to group goals.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
• Ability to stay focused and productive while managing multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
