We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in plastics injection molding processes. As an Injection Mold Operator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality plastic components while ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications.
- Monitor the production process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
- Assemble components as needed, ensuring proper fit and functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in plastics injection molding is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with blow molding processes is a plus.
- Proficient in using basic math for measurements and calculations related to production.
- Experience with logic controllers and machining is advantageous.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is preferred but not mandatory.
