What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at Element2 Group?
Contract Logistics Coordinator will act as a backup to the Lead Logistics Coordinator during illness/vacation and will be crossed trained as needed for all relative tasks that do not go against the companies separation of duties policy. This role will also be cross trained in the Logistics and Purchasing Administrators SAP functions and will serve as their backup when needed.
The ideal candidate will be sitting at a receptionist desk, but most of the interaction at the window are truck drivers, which interacts with most of their job and contractors – instructing them to sign in and letting the contact know that they have arrived. Most importantly – good understanding of excel and must be have excellent attention to detail skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and record all new material into the proper spreadsheets and complete production paperwork
- Handle incoming material discrepancies with the Commercial Team
- Create weekly QC’s and Reruns as needed
- Complete the “Morning Process” by updating inventory with all lots that have been recently processed
- Maintain accurate BE results, release dates and carbon levels on the Lot Log
- Maintain accurate inventory of various off-site warehouses as needed
- Plan outgoing shipments based on Horne’s availability and restrictions
- Build truck layouts and organize shipment of material
- Provide weekly forecast to trucking companies and Horne logistics
- Verify billing of all freight invoices
- Manage mail and incoming packages
- Assist with visitor management
Contract Duration
5-6 Months

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
