Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain equipment related to plastics extrusion and injection molding.
- Set up and adjust press brake machines for production runs.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery, including lathes, to fabricate components as needed.
- Assemble parts and products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform measurements using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in plastics extrusion and injection molding processes.
- Experience operating press brake machines and lathes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
