Competitive Intelligence Developer Senior
Location : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Competitive Intelligence Developer Senior will be responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs to extract data.
How you will make an impact :
Develops and executes data mining analyses and reporting from pre-existing layouts.
Uses program languages to extract data.
Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
Programs and writes queries and reports.
Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues.
Develops and supports data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
Conducts tracking and metrics reporting on use of applications developed.
Conducts training on use of applications developed.
Work collaboratively in a small, high performing environment to further develop existing reporting to meet future organizational needs
Minimum Requirements :
Requires a BS / BA degree and a minimum of 2 years related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences :
PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.
Experience in standard Business Information tools and programming / query languages strongly preferred.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills preferred.
Experience with Python preferred.
Managed health care industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of hospital and payer transparency data preferred.
Experience with “big data” techniques (i.e., arrayed data, flattening) preferred.

- range for this specific position is $87,208 to $130,812.
