COME JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY! SEEKING A PART-TIME OFFICE MANAGER FOR A OUTPATIENT PHYSICAL THERAPY CLINIC.
We are a Privately owned Physical Therapy practice seeking a dynamic team player for our office manager position. Front desk and insurance knowledge/experience is preferred but not required. Must have an outgoing personality mixed with professionalism and organization.
TheOffice Manager position is the first point of contact for patients. The position is responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments within the office, assisting administrative processing (authorizations and verifications), organizing patient files, organizing reports and record keeping. We are seeking an individual who is personable and naturally friendly, bright and inquisitive and an excellent communicator. The ability to support patients, answer their questions and lead them in directions to solve issues they may have, is essential.

Essential Job Duties (other duties may be assigned)
- Welcome patients upon arrival; Answers questions and concerns.
- Answer incoming calls, provide information, and transfer calls or take messages as necessary
- Schedules appointments through phone calls, emails and texts. Assisting patient with maintaining consistent schedules
- Responsible for registering new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information
- Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patient’s arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
- Collect deductibles, coinsurance, balances, copays and sell OTC items
- Collection of outstanding balances from patients
- Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level.
- Check next day charts for insurance eligibility and necessary referrals and prior authorizations
- Prepare end of day reports and upload to shared files daily
- Assist with additional office tasks as necessary
- Assist with social media coordination
Hours
- We are looking for a candidate that is interested in working 4-5 hour shifts per a day, 5 days a week, during heavier call volumes times.
- Shifts are somewhat flexible and will occur M-F during business hours.
