SENIOR ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ANALYST– OVERVIEW:
SENIOR ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ANALYST– OVERVIEW:
The Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for accounting of all revenue streams - ensuring accurate and timely generation of financial transactions so that key business decision makers will have the most up to date information at hand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a business partner with other departments regarding all accounting aspects of revenue.
- Analyze client contracts to identify payment terms, schedules, and collection amounts.
- Collaborate with client finance teams to clarify contract terms and address inquiries regarding payments.
- Create projects and send invoices in NetSuite for contracted revenue.
- Generate invoices for billbacks and other reimbursable costs.
- Respond to internal/external questions and requests in a timely manner.
- Record monthly revenue in accordance with revenue policy.
- Perform account reconciliations, book accruals, and make adjusting entries as needed.
- Track payments to ensure accurate application of cash receipts.
- Review accounts receivable due from clients and follow up on collectability.
- Assist in developing strategies to optimize revenue collection.
- Assist as needed to minimize any delays and deliver on tight deadlines.

A. Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Create a relationship of trust and loyalty by delivering accessible, efficient, and reliable services and products for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate confidently and competently to all types of audiences within a variety of delivery methods including internal departments and customers.
- Achieve planned objectives through completing relevant tasks and focus.
- Communicate orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and impartial manner.
- Work independently.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, particularly ASC 606.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, while balancing and prioritizing multiple or competing tasks.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Intermediate or advanced MS Excel (ability to perform complex functions)
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
- Familiarity with BILL.com is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn and take on new tasks.
