Position Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice with the BEST attitude possible.
- Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed with accuracy and consistency.
- Assisting patients to fill out new patient forms.
- Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the clinical providers.
- Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
- Present treatment options, and various therapy modalities, services, and products to patients.
- Sterilize, organize, and clean rooms and ensure all infection control policies are being followed as well as are always patient ready.
- Work with leadership to resolve administrative challenges with creativity and a team/patient first approach.
- Following billing procedures and managing and accounting for incoming and pending insurance, workers comp, and motor vehicle accident payments
REQUIRED Skills/Qualifications:
- An OUTSTANDING and PROFESSIONAL attitude!
And
- Basic knowledge of using a computer (Able to learn how to use various software)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of front office experience
- 1-2 years of face-to-face customer service experience
- Proficient interpersonal communication skills both in person, over the phone, and electronic.
- Able to analyze information and creatively come up with solutions.
- Capacity to handle multiple projects, or tasks throughout the day
Helpful Skills / Qualifications: (An edge and worth more $$, but not required)
- Knowledge of medical field practices and billing procedures
- Sales experience
- Social media experience

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
