We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Warehouse Associate to work at our Production facility in Harvard, IL. This full-time position reports to the Production Manager. The schedule is Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with some flexibility on start time. The Warehouse / Manufacturing Technician is responsible for activities within the Warehouse and assisting with operating, maintaining and cleaning assigned production equipment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and put away inventory
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Use scanners to read QR codes on products/materials
• View prompts on screens and follow the direction for some tasks
• Manage monthly inventory counts
• Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 35 feet. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
• Understands and supports company and site safety policies and performs work-related activities in a safe manner. Recognizes unsafe work conditions, coaches peers, and suggests new safety standards as appropriate.
• Understands follows and improves documented operational, maintenance, and sanitation standards in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) work environment.
• Uses a computer to input and maintain accurate records and data; utilizes basic computer programs for e-mail and communication with other staff members.
• Works as part of a team and assists fellow employees as needed.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Experience

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred

• Able to read, understand, and follow documents such as safety policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and general instructions
• Able to understand and carry out both oral and written instructions

• Works well with support personnel to maintain high standards for safety, quality, and reliability
• Able to learn company-specific computer systems
• Able to perform the key responsibilities outlined above in accordance with safety standards and practices
• Physical Requirements of the job include the ability to:
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Stand, sit, walk, enter confined spaces, push, pull, kneel, squat, and climb
