Summary:
We are searching for a Regional Sales Manager with experience in both the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries to drive sales across the East Coast territory. This role will involve targeting manufacturers of dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, and other health-related products.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and expand sales within the East Coast territory, focusing on clients in both the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical sectors.
•Develop and execute sales strategies for nutritional ingredients and excipients, catering to a variety of formulations for dietary supplements and pharmaceuticals.
•Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers, product developers, and formulation scientists.
•Collaborate with internal teams to align on product offerings and ensure timely delivery of solutions to clients.
•Identify new business opportunities and partnerships with companies in the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries.
•Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory requirements that impact the use of nutritional ingredients and excipients.
•Represent Our company at industry events, trade shows (e.g., SupplySide West, Vitafoods, CPhI), and customer meetings.
•Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights to senior management to support decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
•Proven experience in a sales role within an ingredients distribution company, with a focus on the nutraceutical and/or pharmaceutical industries.
•Expertise in selling nutritional ingredients (e.g., vitamins, minerals, amino acids) and excipients (e.g., binders, fillers, stabilizers) used in dietary supplements and pharmaceutical formulations.
•Strong network of contacts within the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, including manufacturers and R&D professionals.
•Experience working with distributor companies such as Brenntag, Univar, Prinova, IMCD, Balchem, or similar, is highly preferred.
•Ability to understand the technical aspects of ingredients and excipients, and how they function in various formulations.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
