Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Surgical Services located in Sanford, NC. The Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for overseeing perioperative, operating room, medicine, surgery, and post-anesthesia care activities on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Perioperative, Operating Room, and Surgery skills
- Experience in Medicine and Post Anesthesia Care
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Previous experience in a surgical services leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN) is required
- Registered Nurse in North Carolina or Compact state is required
- BLS and ACLS is required
- Minimum two years as a supervisor for a surgical service line in an acute care hospital setting, within the last five years.
Nice to have:
- Master's degree (MSN, MHA, etc.) is preferred
- Experience as both a OR and PACU RN
