Responsibilities
A Performance Specialist position is a job that will have a strong emphasis on coaching and program delivery,
and other job requirements may include:
- - Instruct, motivate, and assist clients in a safe, legal, moral, and ethical manner to achieve their goals
- - Conduct on-site assessments of clients' health utilizing our proprietary evaluation protocols
- - Update training plans and re-evaluate clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- - Maintain constant and clear communication with clients to ensure goals are met
- - Collaborate with the employer and partners to conduct various client engagement and educational
- - Leading and delivering performance-focused programs to clients.
- - Effectively communicating with parents to update and ensure alignment on goals and progress.
- - Actively selling services and generating revenue independently.
- - Managing and maintaining a portfolio of clients, ensuring consistent tracking and follow-up on their progress and need
activities and events, such as attending outside events, information fairs, campus activities, games,
camps symposiums, etc.- Present Elite Speed Sports Performance methodology through Elite Speed Sports Performance
education programs.
- - Report various metrics to operations, such as retention, engagement, outreach efforts, and activity level
- - Participate in program planning and development, as well as design and carry out related research
- - Lead and participate in staff education covering all aspects of Elite Speed Sports Performance
Methodology
- - Perform all aspects of the position held in a professional manner
- - Follow established policies and procedures of the company.
- - Maintain professional credentials as required, including attending necessary continuing education
courses
- - Some travel may be required.
- - Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- - BA/BS Kinesiology or Sports Science or related degree or
- - 2 years of previous strength coach/personal training experience
- - Currently hold industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM
Preferred Qualifications
- - Two years of personal training/strength coaching experience or completion of Elite Speed Sports
Performance Performance Specialist Internship
- - Master's Degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Rehabilitation or a related field
- - Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in the development of exercise prescription
- - Excellent presentation skills in both small and large group settings
- - Strong customer service skills, servicing the "client" is the top priority.
- - Energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals
- - Must be able to work independently with little daily supervision
- - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- - Experience in teaching group fitness classes with an emphasis on helping improve technique and ability
- - Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite or related products
- - Ability to work long, physical hours, to perform at the highest level while under stress, being agile in
availability (6 days per week)
Physical Requirements
- - Should be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout the workday
- - Frequent walking around and demonstrating and assisting with exercise movements; bending,
stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and squatting are actions performed daily
- - Able to move and execute high levels of physical demands for extensive work hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
