Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making processes. This is a key leadership role within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including general ledger reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and regulatory reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate with external accountant for reviews and tax returns
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment of employees
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) to streamline financial processes
- Perform administrator duties for Quickbook Enterprise, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Cloud computing.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and regulatory reporting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills
