What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor position at Ellicott Development Company?
The Aloft Buffalo Downtown @ 500 Pearl is in search of Front desk night auditor associate to join our hospitality team and deliver exceptional customer service. This Marriott Select Service, high end, mix use facility features 110 ultra-modern guest rooms, 17,000 sq ft of flexible meeting space, lobby bar, performance center, bowling alley and a roof top bar.
We are seeking friendly, outgoing guest service oriented candidates that must have the ability to be an effective part of a team, communicate clearly in person and on the phone, and give outstanding customer service working with both guests and all visitors to our busy downtown property.
- Welcomes guest and pays particular attention to assigned room type, special requests, rate, all while exhibiting an inviting, friendly, and helpful “Glad You’re here” personality, attitude and sets an example for guest service representatives to uphold.
- Performs any combination of following duties for guests of hotel: Greets, register and assigns rooms to guests.
- Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms, advance reservations, and up selling techniques to maximize revenue.
- Promptly follows up on guest complaints and requests with the appropriate person or department.
- Develops the ability to resolve minor complaints to the satisfaction of the guests.
We are looking for part time candidates to work the overnight shift with weekend shifts mandatory. We pay a premium for overnight shifts when worked and offer a generous benefit package including paid days off, health, dental and life insurance benefits to staff working more than 30 hours on average per week.
