Accounting Specialist Details :
Temp-to-Hire position
hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
Leads the accounts payable process including reconciling vendor statements, accurately coding and entering invoices into accounting system, and processing invoices and payments.
Administers the expense management systems including managing employee credit cards, reporting, etc.
Prepares, calculates, records, and processes payroll payments including auditing and computing time clock records, subtracting deductions such as federal and state tax withholdings, insurance deductions, and garnishments.
Responsible for quarterly taxes, year-end taxes, W-2’s, 1099’s and updates to the company financial software.
For the position to be considered for full time, we will need the candidate to help with other miscellaneous accounting responsibilities. This could include assisting with bank reconciliations, liability reconciliations, etc, and some experience with basic journal entries would be needed.
Accounting Specialist Qualifications :
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) year accounting degree preferred.
Experience : Minimum of two (2) years required and five (5) years’ experience preferred in finance or accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable or payroll.
Some experience with basic journal entries is required
Advanced skill level on computers
Longevity at previous positions
Able to pass a drug screen that tests for THC
Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
