Elwood Staffing is partnering with Vestas to hire Production Team Members who play a crucial role in the assembly of Nacelles.

Mechanical Assembly Tester / Level II - Direct Hire Details :
Direct Hire position
to $ / hour
Full Time work available
Various shifts available (Monday through Thursday)
Efficiently assemble components utilizing both hand and power tools.
Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Adhere to Process Work Instructions and manual production processes, ensuring parts fit and are assembled correctly, including but not limited to bolts, screws, shafts, and bearings.
Achieve production standards for various tasks within the allotted time frame.
Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and / or removing them from the work area as needed.
Manage materials using a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transportation purposes.
Interpret schematics to accurately assemble machine components.
Collaborate with fellow assemblers to construct the final product.
Test and inspect components to ensure they meet our standards of uniformity and quality.
Mechanical Assembly Tester / Level II - Direct Hire Qualifications :
Strong mechanical aptitude
A minimum of 2 years of Machinery, Skilled Trades, or Manufacturing experience
Experience working with large machinery
Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
Mechanical Aptitude
Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required
Applicant may be subject to a background check
