About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Embassy Suites Chevy Chase. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering insurance benefits, calculating billing totals, and explaining benefits to employees. They will also assist with completion of enrollment forms, answer questions, and compile review lists and turnover reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer insurance benefits, calculate billing totals, and explain benefits to employees.
- Assist with completion of enrollment forms and answer questions regarding benefits.
- Compile review lists and turnover reports.
- Enter payroll information on computer (wage information, changes).
- Conduct prescreening interviews.
- Respond to unemployment claims and maintain unemployment logbook.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should have at least 1 year of progressive Human Resources experience in a hotel or related industry. Previous supervisory responsibility in a hotel or hospitality industry is preferred. College coursework in a related field is helpful. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
