About Us
Embrace Life Services provides services and support to individuals who have developmental disabilities in our community. We have various locations throughout the Phoenix metropolitan and surrounding areas. At Embrace Life we believe in seeing our Members as individuals, connecting them with society, and helping them to become self-sufficient. We are currently seeking individuals to fill our East Valley locations.
About the role
The Embrace Life team is actively looking for the right applicant to fill our Residential Coordinator. The candidate shall be able to use analytic skills and understanding of the organization and the business in order to handle arising problems and issues. Positively demonstrates leadership skills to be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of resident care, and general maintenance. Be able to direct and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Embrace Life policies and applicable licensing laws with Arizon Department Health and Safety. This position will report to the Residential Director.

Key Responsibility Areas
Serve as a point of contact for our members, their families and / or guardians.
Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and be coachable.
Ability to use positive behavioral strategies and solutions during situations where members may be presenting behavioral issues.
Check documentation daily member goals, medication logs (MAR) our agency uses the Therap application.
Ensure medication is given daily and timely.
Track attendance and update the schedule weekly.
Conduct monthly house meetings.
Keep house supplies stocked, to include a variety of choices for member consumption.
Ensure the home is clean and sanitized daily.
Find or provide staffing in the event of a gap in any of the 24 / 7 coverage.
Provide transportation to various locations throughout the valley and surrounding areas.
Respond to emergencies at the Group Home, 24 / 7.
Attend via Zoom, telephonic, or in-person meetings, such as Person Centered Service Plan (PCSP) & Behavioral Treatment Plan (BTP), as well as other meetings with family, guardians, and DDD Support Coordinators.
Perform other essential job duties, as assigned.
Orient new staff to the residential program and members.

Leadership skills are required.
Requirements :
- A least 21 years of age.
- A High School diploma or GED. (preferred)
- Must obtain Arizona State Level One Fingerprint Clearance.
- Must acquire CPR / First Aid, Article 9, and Prevention and Support Certifications within 60 days of employment.
- Pass Federal and Arizona Criminal background check.
- E-Verify
- A clean 39-month MVD report AND a Valid Driver License.
- Have AT LEAST two (2) years of DSP experience or Equivalent of Direct Care Work with proven track record of increased responsibility.
- Have AT LEAST two (2) years, minimum of three (3) years preferred, of Supervisory experience with a track record of increased responsibility and proven success.
- Have a high level of proficiency and detail regarding documentation. (within the healthcare industry, preferred).
- Professionally and accurately communicate through verbal and written correspondence with healthcare and Government officials.
- Proficient with spelling and grammar.
