Accounting Internship

• This position will work onsite in the Oakbrook Terrace office for 2-3 days and 1-2 days remotely
  
  

Compensation: $20/hr - $24/hour

Schedule: 40 hours/week

The Embroker Finance team is looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Accounting Intern who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role will have the opportunity to learn and gain first-hand experience shadowing and working alongside a dynamic Accounting team.

What You Will Own In This Role

The Accounting Intern will collaborate with Accounting team members to analyze actual financial data and learn more about bookkeeping software. A key project will involve reconciling account statements, tracking findings, and learning to make recommendations to drive issues to resolution. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player who can multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Specific responsibilities may include the support of:

• Monthly accounting close process
• Billing/collections & cash settlement processes
• Reconciliation of recurring vendor payments
  
  

What Experience We Believe Is The Right Fit

• Recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Master's in Accounting or Finance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
• Comfortable in a quick and dynamic environment
• Motivated with a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible
