Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott, Arizona campus is hiring a Facilities Systems Manager to support the Facilities Management team. This position provides overall direction, new initiative coordination and daily management of the Facilities Dept. CMMS as well as other computerized support programs dedicated to Facilities Management. These systems support the Facilities preventative maintenance, materials management, materials acquisition/purchasing. This position is the primary contact and coordinator with Information Technology in support of Facilities CMMS.
Duties include:
Systems manager for CMMS
- Institute logical numbering system for assets.
- Facilitate user's logins and manage iPad support necessary for CMMS.
- Recommend and attend systems manager training provided by software vendors.
- Administer software and asset updates.
- Train all staff in the usage of the CMMS system.
Reporting from CMMS
- Monthly work completion data for executive dashboard.
- Monthly utility billing and project team cross charges.
- Monthly utility data (not just billing) to include usage for management purposes.
Systems manager for space management tracking
- Coordinate with Interior Design group to ensure AimCAD data is current.
Supervise front desk position in support of departmental operations
Other duties as assigned to assist Director in the efficient operation and communications of the department
Work hours are generally Monday-Friday, 0800-1630. Hours and days of work are determined by business requirements and may be changed as needed.
QualificationsEducation:
A.S. Degree in Business Administration of Management or other related field or equivalent
Experience
3 to 5 years experience in automated Facilities Management systems and 3 years experience in personnel supervision; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Proficiency in business software including Microsoft Office suite.
Proficiency in database management or CMMS.
Must be a self-directed/self-starter who works well under time deadlines.
Must have excellent communications skills.
