Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Plant Equipment Operator Supervisor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of installed plant equipment and systems, adhering to contractual obligations between the University of New Hampshire and EMCOR Energy Services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Follows direction from Lead Operator on Shift
- Interfaces with vendors and clients regarding plant equipment, repairs, and testing procedures
- Utilizes the Fuel Management System for required testing and reporting
- Is familiar with New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Title V Operating Permit, including testing and reporting
- Monitors Plant SCADA for Safe and Efficient Plant Operation
- Periodically checks installed equipment for proper operation and calibration
- Develops knowledge and skills required to operate and maintain installed equipment
- Assists in trouble shooting, repair, and operation of plant equipment and machinery
Requirements:
- Detailed understanding of Combined Heat and Power and Central Utility Plants, including startup, operations, and maintenance of all installed equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent comparable technical education, and/or five years of documented work-related experience
