Overview
The SCADA P2P Technician will possess specific knowledge of ADMS and SCADA applications, as well as knowledge of the SCADA field system communications architecture and protocols for communication with Remote Terminal Units and other field SCADA devices and will be responsible for coordination and support of testing on SCADA upgrade and replacement projects. Experience with working directly with field crews and with Schneider Electric ADMS and AspenTech OSII Monarch is highly preferred. **Candidates in the Arizona area will receive preference, but this work can be done from most locations across the US.**
Responsibilities
Manage RTU Deployment:
Coordinate with Distribution Engineers, P&C Settings, Field personnel, Project Managers, and Substation Operations personnel
Create SCADA Point Tabulations for RTUs
Configure RTUs in SCADA and FEP
Perform SCADA Rollout with Engineer as Required
Perform SCADA to FEP Linking of RTUs
Troubleshoot RTUs in Real-Time during Point Check / Commissioning
Work with DCC Operators to Resolve RTU Issues in Real-Time
Work with Field Personnel to Resolve RTU Issues in Real-Time
Provide Out-of-Scan RTU Reports to Appropriate Field Personnel Groups
Provide RTU Alarm Reports to Appropriate Field Personnel Groups
Qualifications
Minimum of 2-5 years proven experience working with SCADA and/or ADMS systems, including expertise with Front End Processors and their communications with field devices.
Experience with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure or AspenTech/OSI Monarch OpenView preferred
Detailed knowledge of SCADA field communications protocols (DNP, DNP-IP, etc.)
Excellent technical and communications (writing and verbal) skills
Knowledge of the Distribution Electric Grid
Prior experience working directly with field crews on SCADA P2P testing
Detail oriented and accurate
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities

Salary : $88,000 - $122,000
