Emerge is recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire Engineering Manager Job near Lock Haven, PA for our client, an established manufacturer of quality products . This position will oversee all Manufacturing Engineering functions, including Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation, and Plastics Process Engineering, as well as Tool and Equipment Engineering and the Machine Shop.
In this leadership role, you will shape the strategy for the engineering team, mentor staff, and ensure the successful launch of new products. Candidates must have a strong background in plastic injection molding.

Responsibilities for the Engineering Manager include:
Define and lead the strategic vision for Manufacturing Engineering, focusing on workforce development and global resource alignment.
Drive improvements in manufacturing processes, equipment, tools, and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Optimize production and distribution processes, including material handling and packaging solutions.
Serve as a technical expert for process optimization and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
Manage new product and process launches, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Spearhead productivity and cost-efficiency projects to achieve organizational goals.
Develop and oversee the capital budget, aligning investments with business priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing goals.
Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain operational consistency.
Build strong interdepartmental relationships to support seamless workflow and project execution.
Mentor and develop the engineering team, fostering growth and preparing employees for future roles.
Provide technical support to resolve production challenges related to quality, tooling, and processes.
Identify and implement emerging technologies to boost productivity and reduce costs.
Ensure accurate data and information flow within the Manufacturing Engineering function.
Support domestic and international travel needs for project oversight and team collaboration.
Adhere to regulatory compliance requirements, including ITAR and EAR.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastic/Polymer Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
Strong expertise in plastic injection molding and related processes.
5-7 years of relevant experience, including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
Certification in Project Management is a plus.
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
Familiarity with manufacturing techniques, including injection molding or wire harness production, is preferred.
Strong analytical, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, and execute complex projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Must meet ITAR and EAR requirements, classified as a US Person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual).
