Ever dreamed of dispatching emergency medical services at some of the biggest concerts, music festivals and sporting events in the world? This is the per-diem job you've been looking for.

For over 20 years E1R/Evolve EMS has provided high quality, on-site emergency services to special events, and we’re currently looking for new family members to add to our amazing team. We’re a staff comprised of EMTs, Paramedics (BLS/non transport work only), RNs and Physicians who not only provide high quality medical services but outstanding customer service to special events across California.

As we continue to grow, we are now accepting resumes from experienced dispatchers for per-diem/on-call/casual work. This is a great job for someone looking for supplemental income, a job to work around your school schedule or a job to make you remember why you love medicine again.

Must have at least two weekends a month of availability as most big events are on the weekends. Dispatchers are required to work a minimum of one shift every three months to remain on the roster.

Qualifications for Dispatchers

  • Experience working as a dispatcher in an emergency or ambulance type capacity
  • Must be amazingly calm under pressure
  • Must have great typing skills and the ability to type while listening to a radio
  • Must complete State of California Sexual Harassment Course (Must have completed prior to start date)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum six months of full-time dispatch experience
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have some Friday/Saturday availability in order to be able to work shifts here.
  • Pay rate is $25/Hr. for all newly hired dispatchers. All shifts on holidays pay overtime rate all day. Pay rate will rise to $30/Hr after the completion of five shifts.
