Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Business Development
- Drive sales growth and customer relationships within assigned accounts
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless new customer onboarding and maintenance
- Analyze prospective customers' needs and develop strategic recommendations
- Execute customer presentations, manage sampling requests, and lead customer meetings
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners
- Manage new item setup and maintain data accuracy across all systems
- Review and optimize customer purchase orders
- Create and execute account-specific strategies to drive growth
- Maintain customer pricing and catalog management
- Lead internal sales tools and process improvements
- Experience with Broker Management
- Forecasting and annual planning
- Execute data entry for cross-functional reporting and analytics
- Generate and analyze sales reports to drive strategic decision-making
- Monitor account performance and identify growth opportunities
- Track and report on key performance indicators
- Develop actionable insights from sales data
- Grow Mass Business by 35%
- Travel required up to 50% as business develops
- Must be able to lift boxes of 20lbs
- Tradeshow set up and tear down
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically
- 5 years of sales account management experience in CPG industry, preferably Home Fragrance or Personal Care
- Experience with Walmart and CVS, a plus
- Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Business, Marketing, or related field)
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing customer relationships
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Excel pivot tables, formulas, and lookups experience is a must
- Putting together from scratch presentations while updating existing materials
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple accounts and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and collaboratively
