Emerging Tech seeks a dynamic Technical Facilitator to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM-IO). This role bridges the gap between technical and business teams, ensuring seamless collaboration, effective communication, and actionable outcomes.
Role Overview
As the Technical Facilitator, you will:
- Lead technical design review sessions, bringing together technical experts and business stakeholders to identify practical, implementable solutions.
- Develop agendas, executive briefings, and coordinate meeting logistics while managing discussions to produce outcomes such as decisions, roadmaps, and action items.
- Use critical thinking and technical analysis to structure effective meetings, achieve objectives, and track follow-up actions.
- Facilitate in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings with a strong focus on driving results, keeping discussions on track, and resolving conflicts as needed.
- Deliver clear and concise outputs such as summary reports, decisions, and actionable deliverables using Microsoft Office tools.
- Continuously evaluate and improve meeting processes, tools, and facilitation techniques to enhance effectiveness.
Required:
- 4 years of professional experience in a government, healthcare, or technical environment.
- Expertise in meeting facilitation tools like Microsoft Teams and Webex.
- Strong communication skills tailored to executive audiences.
- Proficiency in data analysis and scientific writing, adhering to government standards for targeted audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).
- Flexibility to support meetings across time zones and travel for in-person sessions.
- 4 years of experience in meeting facilitation, event planning, or project coordination.
- Familiarity with VA systems and experience implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Demonstrated success leading high-profile meetings with senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
- Proven conflict resolution and problem-solving expertise.
