If you are a professional Operations Manager looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Sherman, Texas location, you will be responsible for driving world class parts availability and speed within the North America Parts Warehouse.
AS AN OPERATIONS MANAGER, YOU WILL:
- Manage all warehouse activities, including product handling, storage solutions, shipment of goods, schedule of operations and delivery of items.
- Optimize space utilization and improve efficiency of inventory flow.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement processes with corrective action.
- Operational responsibilities for annual expense budget.
- Drive critical success factors - Safety, Quality, Delivery/Leadtime, Cost/Inventory, and Management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 8 years of directly related experience
- 7 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain and/or materials management
- 5 years of leadership experience
- Legal Authorization to work in the US - sponsorship will not be provided for this role
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Experience managing operational budgets
- Must be a confident communicator, (including both written and verbal skills) and must be able to effectively present to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to apply structured problem-solving methodologies to determine root cause of problems and provide effective countermeasures
- Six Sigma/Lean/Continuous Improvement experience
- Fisher Valve product knowledge
