We are searching for a Human Resources Payroll Analyst for our client located along the waterfront in Camden, NJ.
Job Summary
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for supporting the Payroll Team. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of payroll principles and best practices.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including time and attendance records, deductions, and benefits.
- Calculate and process various payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, deductions, and benefits.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and identify and correct any discrepancies.
- Assist with year-end processing, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management.
- Review, revise and approve timecards for all hourly employees
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of HR data in the system, including employee records, job profiles, compensation details, and organizational hierarchies.
- Oversee data entry, auditing, and data cleanup activities within the HRIS to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Create custom reports and dashboards for key HR metrics, trends, and analytics.
- Conduct payroll and benefits audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage ADP file feeds for open enrollment.
- Assist with benefit and payroll tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in Payroll and HRIS administration and data management.
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or related payroll software.
ADP experience preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Must be an enthusiastic self-starter, flexible, be able to multi-task and delegate or handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.
PC proficiency required.
