Akron Intellectual Property law firm seeks an onsite full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join its firm. The successful candidate must have a professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and ensure smooth client interactions.
As a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant at Emerson, Thomson & Bennett, LLC, you will:
- Welcome guests in person, direct them to the appropriate staff members, and manage visitor flow.
- Answer incoming calls, take detailed messages, transfer calls to appropriate attorneys or staff, and provide basic information about the firm.
- Coordinate client appointments with attorneys and assist in managing calendars.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming packages.
- Assist in opening new client files and ensure accurate documentation in those files.
- Assist with document preparation, copying, and file organization.
- Assist with dictation as needed.
- Coordinate meetings including setting up video conferences/calls, request meeting room service, equipment, and catering.
- Organize and maintain electronic files.
- Organize and maintain contacts and calendars.
- Enter and release time for timekeepers; print reports as requested.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Superior attention to detail
- Professional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, with excellent grammar, spelling, and writing skills required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work effectively
- Maintain a courteous and positive attitude
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated and able to effectively utilize time and resources
- Client service/customer satisfaction oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
