TideSmart Global seeks an energetic Seasonal Events Manager to manage an exciting New England-based sampling program.
We've partnered with a lively regional beverage chain to serve samples and distribute free merch at outdoor public events in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. The Seasonal Events Manager is responsible for transporting equipment, overseeing event execution, and managing inventory in coordination with the TideSmart Operations Team.

- lives in Maine (This position operates out of TideSmart’s Falmouth campus).
- has experience in outdoor event work, marketing tours, or a similar background
- can successfully operate the main program assets (Ford Transit van, Honda 3200 generator)
- is fully available for the tour duration and all scheduled marketing events
Anticipated employment dates: May 28th-October 30th
Contract Duration: 52 paid event days; average of 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for proper operation of the program vehicle, assets, and event materials
- Operation of the program vehicle in accordance with DOT codes, company policies, and procedures. Ensure no intentional or negligent vehicle damage and/or lost articles.
- Successfully execute the client’s mobile sampling experience in alignment with program goals and company policies and procedures
- Act as on-site authority for all events
- Manage inventory, event set-up/breakdown, and technology throughout the tour
- Facilitate a welcoming, positive, and professional guest experience for all event attendees and client representatives
- Fulfill all communication and reporting obligations as defined and agreed upon during training.
- Exceptional punctuality for all events, set up, conference calls, and appointments during the contract duration.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to successfully pass a background and MVR check
- Must be comfortable driving long distances in a large vehicle
- Able to provide a professional reference upon request.
Physical Demands:
This is largely a physical role. Standing, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, carrying, climbing, are frequently required. This role requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs in a warehouse setting and during outdoor events in all weather conditions. This role requires the ability to safely operate company vehicles and drive for extended periods of time.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a climate-controlled warehouse and at outdoor events in all weather conditions. The employee is expected to fulfil administrative obligations during travel using a smart phone and laptop. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, headsets, and phones.
