Health, Safety And Physical Demand Requirements
- Monitor and maintain weather conditions (ice and snow).
- General housekeeping activities inside and outside of the facility.
- Perform facility preventive maintenance.
- Perform general repairs as required.
- Assists in implementing projects or work orders, as required.
- Document all activities as required.
- Adhere to all company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety.
- Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, locations and quantities.
- Establish and monitor spare part orders.
- Log incoming and outgoing maintenance material.
- Advise Department Manager/ Supervisor of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities, and employee safety or customer satisfaction results.
- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process & systems.
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or system.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through the appropriate channels and verify implementation.
- Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Vehicle Permit.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT certification to operate box truck.
- Scissor List and Boom Lift Permit required.
