Key Areas of Responsibility (Answerable for the following end results)
Monitor and maintain weather conditions (ice and snow).
General housekeeping activities inside and outside of the facility.
Perform facility preventive maintenance.
Perform general repairs as required.
Assists in implementing projects or work orders, as required.
Document all activities as required.
Adhere to all company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety.
Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management.
Chicago Specific
Manage inventory of spare parts, locations and quantities.
Establish and monitor spare part orders.
Log incoming and outgoing maintenance material.
Limits of Authority
Advise Department Manager / Supervisor of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities, and employee safety or customer satisfaction results.
Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process & systems.
Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or system.
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through the appropriate channels and verify implementation.
Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected.
Basic Education, Experience and Skills Required
High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Able to maintain confidentiality.
Louisville Specific
Must be able to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Vehicle Permit.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT certification to operate box truck.
Scissor List and Boom Lift Permit required.
