Front Desk Agent
Come be a part of the Empeiria High Sierra Hotel team! The ideal candidate is reliable, responsible, has a friendly demeanor, and an eagerness to help our guests have an incredible mountain experience.
Priority will be given to candidates willing to work overnight shifts.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests during their stay
- Provide personal recommendations to guests for restaurants, attractions, outdoor recreation, and more
- Process guest check-ins, check-outs, and create guest reservations
- Resolve guest complaints and service requests as necessary
- Monitor upcoming arrivals, process payments, and ensure that other front desk procedures have been completed
- Complete minor housekeeping tasks to ensure that the lobby is clean and that the gift shop is well-stocked
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to management
- Ensure the safety and security of hotel property and guests by conducting rounds and reporting issues or concerns to management
- Complete other administrative and guest services procedures as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service, front desk, or hospitality experience required
- Proficiency with computer/tablet programs
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to show up to scheduled shifts on time
- Weekend (Sat-Sun) availability required
