The anticipated compensation range for this position is $85,000-$92,000 annually. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of relevant job experience, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Empire Communities is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions located in other states.

What We Are Looking For:
- Post-secondary education in Economics, Real Estate, or related field
- At least 3 years-experience in homebuilding land acquisition or development
- Solid understanding of the housing marketplace, market trends and market analysis
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling experience

- Perform acquisition analysis and provide recommendations based on complex financial modeling, including proforma analysis to assess various development options.
- Manage the underwriting process for land development and acquisition opportunities, prepare competitive market analysis studies, and present financial proformas to senior management.
- Determine lot and land values in specific submarkets, track and monitor significant land transactions, and review zoning, land use ordinances, and master plans.
- Support the due diligence process, assemble Investment Committee Memos, and develop a broad understanding of the market, including competition, house types, price points, and sales absorptions.
- Update and maintain land pipeline reports, handle amendments to purchase and sale agreements, and manage files and systems within the land department.
