Production Lead

New Lisbon, WI – Walk In Facility

Location: New Lisbon, WI
Shift: 1st   5-:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.  Monday through Friday, with overtime on as needed.
Compensation: Based on Experience

Position Summary:

Our Production Lead will perform and support the various duties associated with meeting production schedules and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Direct, mentor, coach and lead the work of employees and handle administrative functions

• Work with Plant Management to achieve schedule as required

• Assist in monitoring and evaluating all materials and quality processes

• Door Installation

• Final inspection, shipping, parts orders

• Perform Epicor (ERP system) duties and functions as needed

• Security of building

• Other areas of responsibility as needed

Qualifications:               

• Must understand and be able to follow ALL safe operating procedures & requirements

• Leadership and interpersonal abilities and skills required; Production Leadership experience in manufacturing strongly preferred

• Must possess a cooperative attitude

• Must be self-motivated and work without supervision

• Must be able to understand and execute instructions

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills

• Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 environment

• Epicor knowledge is a plus

• Must have a good understanding of the production process

• Have willingness to learn standard processes of production process

• Ability to have a flexible work schedule and attend meetings as required

Candidates that do not meet minimum qualifications will not be considered.

Essential Functions:

• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read blue prints

• Scheduling and managing jobs for production line and service orders

• Understand quality specs per department

• Prioritize output based on schedules

• Learn and understand brazing and refrigeration process

• Ability to use repetitive motions

• Ability to reach overhead and/or above shoulder height frequently

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
