What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Specialist position at EmployHQ?
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and execute strategies for sourcing qualified talent, utilizing all available resources; career fairs, job boards, social media, internship programs, etc.
- Promote, and leverage and maintain all internal recruitment channels, including employee referral program.
- Collaborate with leadership staff in identifying talent and develop strategies for critical roles.
- Partnering with the marketing and communications team to promote the organization.
- Manage communications with third-party agencies, as well as staffing agencies.
- Create and develop effective job descriptions to attract top talent.
- Maintain the organization’s use of recruitment technology and candidate tracking to build the talent community and maintain and easy-to-navigate career page.
- Oversee the entire candidate’s interview process, including skill assessments and development of competency-based interview guides.
- Execute full-cycle recruitment processes, that include candidate selection, prescreening, offer-letter generation, and onboarding.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices for hiring, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Maintain ongoing communication with hiring managers to ensure hiring needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Construction industry knowledge required.
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
- Travel is required, local and overnight.
- Bilingual is a plus.
