As a Junior Accountant, your primary focus will be on accounts payable and supporting the Finance team. You will assist with critical financial functions, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accounts Payable: Process invoices, payments, and vendor statements, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
• Purchasing Support: Verify that purchases are allocated to the correct cost center and maintain proper documentation for transactions.
• Reconciliations: Perform routine general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Month-End and Year-End Closings: Support the finance team during financial reporting cycles, ensuring all necessary data is prepared and accurate.
• Compliance Assistance: Assist with internal audits, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and organizational policies.
• Grant Support: Help track expenditures and provide financial data for grant reporting requirements.

Qualifications:
