Emser Tile, LLC, an award-winning nationwide supplier of high-quality, fashionable, and diverse floor covering products seeks an experienced INTERN to build relationships, service, and trust throughout the flooring and natural stone industry.

Job Summary
The Intern will bridge gaps between departments assisting in showroom function and conducting sales. The Intern will also be responsible for customer service and lead generation in the day to day running of the Branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all customers
- Showroom foot traffic
- Customer appointments
- Design & selection services
- Product knowledge training
- Customer Quotes per project
- Handle all sample needs
- Installation/technique knowledge
- Manage the details of multiple design projects in a timely manner
- Stock, merchandise and maintain displays in showroom
- Order follow up
- Event hosting
- Event attendance
- Contractor events
- Cold calling
- Lead generation
- Provide accurate and timely order and product information to the client including pricing, specifications, installation guidelines, care and warranty
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience)
- Ability to build relationships with contractors in the branch
- Detail oriented and self-starter.
- Ability to maintain a professional work environment at all times.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications, i.e., Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Building and product knowledge a plus.
Working conditions (Branch/DC Positions)
- Stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- Walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Sit, climb or balance.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
- The noise level is usually loud.
