In this role, you will be responsible for Business Development (BD) initiatives for both regulated and unregulated initiatives for Enbridge's distribution customers. You will lead a team of highly motivated individuals to bring value through the expansion of our portfolio of energy products and services to support a sustainable energy future while preserving and expanding our natural gas distribution system.

• Identify and work on M&A and BD opportunities through the oversight and preparation of initial business cases, long-term strategic rationale, and capital appropriation memos to get executive approval.

• Develop and own the establishment of financial objectives, strategies, and activities of the Business Development team to meet corporate capital targets and maximize EBITDA for the company.

• Further the BD team's skills through coaching, mentorship, relationship building, open communication, and collaboration.

• Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, safety, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change.

• Develop, maintain, and foster relationships with diverse counterparties and customers through the development, execution, and operational phases of a program.

• Related university degree preferably in Business along with 8 years of directly related experience.

• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to promote teamwork and cooperation within a group.

• Critical thinking and the ability to withhold judgment while gathering information to inform robust and coherent decisions.

• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to listen, understand, and clearly communicate complex concepts.

• MBA or CFA designation is preferred.

• Some travel is required for this role (10%). A valid 'G' License & responsible driving record will be needed.
