We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Machine Operator & Forklift Associate to join our team for a Temporary Job Assignment. This role involves operating industrial machinery and material handling equipment, including stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers to support production and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth workflow by safely transporting materials, maintaining equipment, and assisting with machine operation in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload raw materials, finished goods, and other inventory.
- Operate and monitor production machinery, adjusting settings as needed for efficiency.
- Perform quality checks on materials before transport or processing.
- Assist with order picking and staging using forklifts and powered industrial trucks.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse/manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery noise and varying temperatures.
- Requires frequent use of forklifts and cherry pickers at elevated heights.
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety vests, gloves, and hearing/eye protection, may be required.
