Encorus Group is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our Depew, NY office. If you excel at solving complex engineering challenges across the AEC and Industrial sectors, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you will lead projects involving mass balances, Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) creation and revision, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) participation, piping and equipment design calculations and specifications, and code compliance reviews.
We’re looking for a technically skilled, proactive, and self-motivated professional who takes ownership of their work. In addition to design responsibilities, you’ll contribute to proposal development, client and vendor management, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities :
- Define project requirements, delegate tasks to staff, and oversee projects through to completion, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
- Serve as a project manager, handling correspondence, estimates, schedules, material lists, design considerations, and drawings.
- Review and redline existing drawings, maintain project documentation, and coordinate project files.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals, including architects and engineers, to ensure seamless design integration.
- Independently manage projects of moderate size and complexity while supporting senior engineers on larger, more intricate assignments.
- Assist project managers with correspondence, estimates, schedules, material lists, design concepts, calculations, and documentation, ensuring compliance with customer, corporate, and industry standards.
- Apply industry best practices and company standards to oversee the development of calculations, project drawings, and specifications.
- Mentor and guide entry-level engineers, providing technical development, progress reviews, and coaching.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners—including cross-discipline teams, construction teams, vendors, fabricators, and clients—to address electrical-related challenges.
- Execute advanced engineering tasks that require creativity and critical thinking, solving unique electrical challenges that may have limited or no direct code guidance.
Qualifications :
