Dental Practice in Eugene is seeking an experienced Patient Coordinator (Front Desk)!
Our dental practice located in Eugene, Oregon is committed to providing exceptional patient care and we are seeking an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to join our team! We are passionate about providing compassionate dental care to our patients! The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of one year of dental administrative experience, including verifying dental insurance, scheduling routine appointments and treatment appointments, and dental billing knowledge. We pride ourselves on our teamwork and our commitment to our patients.
The Dental Patient Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Greeting and checking patients in
- Scheduling routine and treatment appointments
- Handling patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing
- Verifying patients’ dental insurance
- Reviewing treatment plans, insurance, and co-insurance payments with patients
- Collecting patients’ co-insurance at check-out
- Data entry of patient information
- Coordinating record transfers for patients
- Attending to and keeping the patient waiting area tidy
- Collaborating with the doctor and clinical staff to deliver a great patient experience

Qualifications
Dental Patient Coordinator Qualifications:
- Must have at least one year of dental or medical front desk experience, including knowledge of insurance verification, scheduling procedures and routine appointments, and dental or medical billing.
- Proficiency with dental or medical software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, prioritization and organizational skills
- Knowledge of healthcare policies (HIPAA)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliability and punctuality
