Job Description: We are currently seeking motivated individuals for a full-time CAD Operator / Detailer career. As a CAD Operator / Detailer, you will be responsible for engineering and modeling equipment/products. Candidates with the following skills, knowledge, experience, and competency would have an advantage in the hiring process but are not required for applying. These include but are not limited to:
- Creating approval and proposal drawings for standard products
- Processing drawings and models to create bills of materials for production
- Working closely with Product Managers to generate standard parts and drawings
- Aiding in the production of necessary drawings to manufacture standard conveying equipment and/or modified equipment in accordance with customer's specific needs
- Supporting Product Managers, Project Engineers, and Manufacturing with problems that relate to design, bills of material, or quality concerns
- Assisting with concepts from initial design through the manufacturing process
Skills Needed:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D design programs
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Excel and Word
- High attention to detail
Knowledge Required:
- Experience in the metal manufacturing and/or material handling industry
Ability to Implement:
- Ability to create detailed and accurate drawings and models
- Ability to work collaboratively with Product Managers and other team members
- Ability to support the manufacturing process from initial design to final production
