Overview
Our Corporate IT Group is seeking an IT Support Analyst for our Kennesaw, Georgia location. In this role, you'll provide assistance to internal clients in areas such as networking, clerical tasks, and various help desk responsibilities, all while growing your expertise in the IT field.
Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you'll be the go-to problem solver, providing both deskside and remote support to empower employees. You'll play a key part in ensuring seamless technology by configuring systems, troubleshooting network issues, and managing user accounts. With every service request you resolve, you'll make a direct impact on the company’s success, all while fostering a positive, professional environment.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide deskside and remote technical support to employees. Diagnose and troubleshoot networking connectivity issues. Identify and troubleshoot potential network connection problems throughout the facility
- System & Software Management: Configure, deploy, install, and support PCs and endpoint systems. Install, configure, and manage specific software using established policies and procedures
- User & Account Management: Manage and configure user accounts in Office365, Active Directory, and other enterprise-level solutions
- Communication & Professionalism: Interact and communicate in a professional manner with internal customers while maintaining confidentiality
- IT Service Management: Work within an ITSM system on problems, incidents, service requests, assets, changes, and solutions articles
- On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call rotation
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university strongly preferred; Associate's Degree and significant relevant work experience will be considered
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar support role
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and Office365 in an enterprise environment
- Experience working in an ITSM system (FreshService, ServiceNow, Zendesk)
- Strong knowledge of endpoint computing hardware and peripherals
- Broad knowledge of common endpoint software products
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users at all levels of the company
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
- Comfortable with continuous learning of new applications and skills
- Ability to write effective knowledgebase articles
- Basic networking knowledge (including VPN, AD, LDAP, WAN)
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Ability to mentor other more junior support associates and interns
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player
