Position Overview:
Energy Diagnostics is seeking a Building Modeling Assistant to join our innovative team of energy professionals. This role is critical in supporting our clients' needs by performing a variety of modeling tasks, with a primary focus on final entering in energy modeling projects. As part of our team, you will assist in creating accurate building energy models, tracking project data, and identifying trends to drive continuous improvement.
We are looking for an individual with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset. Previous experience in energy modeling, design, or data entry is beneficial, but not required—what matters most is your passion for learning, adaptability, and commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initial 2D/3D Modeling: Assist in creating initial energy models for various building types.
- Building Model Starts: Set up and organize project files to initiate the modeling process.
- Final Modeling: Complete and verify final models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Design Overflow Support: Provide assistance on overflow design tasks to meet deadlines.
- Tracking Notes/Issues: Maintain detailed records of project notes and resolve identified issues.
- Identifying Trends: Analyze data to uncover trends and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Brand Ambassador: Uphold and represent EDI’s commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.
