CoolToday is currently seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Human Resource Coordinator handle a variety of HR functions including the administrative responsibilities of Conducts New Hire Orientations, reviewing company policies and benefits information.Submitting and follow up on Commercial General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and Automobile Liability insurance claims with insurance carriers.

Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
- Supports the Human Resources Department.
- Gather and process pre-hire paperwork, background checks, and MVR checks.
- Conducts New Hire Orientations, process all onboarding paperwork, reviewing company policies and benefits information.
- Works with managers on disciplinary, attendance, and performance issues to ensure compliance with Company policies and practices.
- Participates in benefits administration and enrollment for new employees and during Benefits Open Enrollment for employees.
- Submitting, follow up, and monitoring Workers’ Compensation claims.
- Other duties as assigned within the Human Resources Department.
- Supoorts and coordinates company-wide recognition programs, team building activities and company sponsored sports events.
Qualifications
Do I Have What it Takes:
- 2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Basic knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and regulations.
- Understanding of Workers’ Compensation insurance.
- Must have high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic, and good communication.
- Proven record of ability to maintain the highest level confidentiality.
- Solid organizational and time-management capabilities
- Effective oral and written communications skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience with payroll related compliance and reporting.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
- Earned a high school diploma or GED.
- Experience with UKG Pro a plus but not required.
