What You Can Expect
As our Environmental, Health, & Safety Intern, at ENGIE's Medical Area Total Energy Plant (MATEP) located in Boston, MA, you will be responsible for assisting the Environmental Health and Safety manager with all aspects of developing and managing Environmental Health and Safety programs pertaining to OSHA regulations and state and federal environmental requirements, including confined space entry, crane safety, electrical safety, fall protection and ladder safety, noise, and emergency response, as well as environmental programs involving air, water, and hazardous waste requirements. Every day you will aid in the development and completion of environmental and safety metrics, safety equipment inventories, and inspections geared to reducing injuries and risk. This position will report to the Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager.
What You'll Bring
You are actively pursuing a Bachelors' degree in Environmental Science, Health and Safety Engineering
- You are proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- You have a collaborative approach and are task oriented with the ability to achieve milestones
- You are available at least forty hours of consistently-scheduled availability within standard working hours (7 : 30am - 4pm) in Eastern Standard time, Monday -Friday. Exact hours are negotiable.

Compensation
Salary Range : $21.00 to $23.50 USD hourly
